Throwing, slab building and Raku firing
Come and create clay objects in a friendly pottery workshop and develop your personal artistic approach. These sessions are for everyone: curious beginners and those who already have some experience with clay.
Techniques explored:
Pinch pots/modeling, slab work, the potter's wheel,, glazing & Raku firing

Raku & the land of fire
Content of the session:

Guided tour of the workshop and a description of the steps of making a ceramic object

Demonstration of throwing on a potter's wheel

History and explanation of the Raku firing technique

Choice of 2 bisqued bowls (first firing) per participant

Decoration of your bowls with our coloured glazes

Firing and unloading of the pots

Cleaning and sharing the results of your pots

Participants leave with your own fired bowls
