Studio Activities 2023
Sara Mills
I like to use the 'Raku' firing technique for the surprising effects that can result from the flames and the smoking process. I find that it is particularly suited to my way of hand-modelling or shaping the clay.
My themes touch on the topics of equilibrium in our everyday lives. The day-to-day juxtapositions that we live create a metaphorical universe in my works.
